Christopher Cervantes is a Wealth Management Advisor in the Dallas office. Christopher has earned the Certified 401(k) Professional designation awarded by The Retirement Advisor University in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education and he is also a Certified Financial PlannerTM certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Christopher provides customized service to 401(k) and profit sharing plan sponsors and plan participants who are looking to better understand and enhance their retirement programs. He works with each client to make sure that employers understand how their plans are designed, what they are paying for, how the investments are performing and how their plan compares to other plans of similar size in the same industry. Christopher also works with employees to make sure they understand why they need to plan for retirement, how to take advantage of their company’s retirement program, and how to gain confidence over time in being ready to retire.
Christopher consults with companies on all aspects of their retirement planning needs, including a review of their current program, and helps explore enhancements to their current plan that is most appropriate for both the company and its employees.
A graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Accounting, Christopher has been in the financial services industry since 1995 and has served clients at Merrill Lynch since 1999. He lives in Plano with his wife, Laura, and two sons. Christopher is the founding President of Winners’ Circle in north Dallas and the past Chairman of the Baylor Business Network of Dallas. He is a Founding Partner and Member of National Association of Plan Advisors and a Platinum Sponsor of the Dallas chapter of Financial Executives International. Christopher is active in his church and community.
