Steve is President & Founder of SageBerry Consulting, a boutique firm that specializes in strategy and marketing for retail and luxury brands. He is also a keynote speaker, blogger (www.stevenpdennis.com) and frequent media contributor on retail growth and innovation.
Prior to founding SageBerry, Steve was Senior Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for the Neiman Marcus Group. As a member of the Executive Committee he drove the company’s major growth initiatives and omnichannel strategy. Before joining Neiman Marcus, Steve held leadership positions with Sears, including Acting Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President-Multichannel Integration. He began his career with Booz & Co., now the global strategy consulting arm of PwC.
He currently serves on the Advisory Boards of Invodo., Nectar Online Media, RevTech Accelerator and Education Opens Doors and as a Mentor for the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, the GroundFloor Accelerator and SMU’s Cox Business School. He is the immediate past president and board chair of the DFW Retail Executives Association, where he remains on their Board of Directors.
Steve is active in social venture philanthropy principally through his role as a Partner and as the Board Chair-Elect of Social Venture Partners Dallas. Since joining SVP Dallas in 2010, he has advised numerous non-profits that focus on education reform and lifting families out of poverty on their strategy and marketing plans.
Steve received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Tufts University. He is a single father of two college age daughters.
